Fears and failures..

Because of the lost donation tin. Mr Chan had to travel a total of 4 hours on the train.
Sengkang to outram to dover to outram to sengkang to outram to dover to outram to sengkang.

And at one point, he took the wrong side and went to the harbour front direction instead of the punggol direction. Not only that, the train was terminating and he did not get off, which meant he went past harbour front to some unknown place finding himself alone with the train operator.

Thank God. It turned back.

I went to the alpha concert later on. Thank God for ministering to me.

I had a revelation. You know the song mighty to save, where the verse goes "take me as you find me, all my fears and failures... " I now truly understand what it meant to be taken as you are with all yours fears and your failures.

Sometimes like myself, we tend to want to give our best to God(which is good), we want everything to be perfect(May not be so good). Like how we want our quiet time material to be perfect and have worship in the morning. Etc. Etc

I can say that i have failed time and time again.

Why?

Well, cause "I" want everything to be perfect, problem is we can't as we have all fallen short of the glory of God(Romans3:23 ). "I" also that thought "I" must do it and "I" definately can do it cause its for God.

See the "I"? Some of us may fall into this cycle. Especially, when God touches us with His passion and fire. And being convicted, we really want to serve Him and give Him our best. However, the devil wants to deceive us that "we" have to do this and that and won't go wrong, but God knows we are not perfect.

God does not want us to just walk but wants us to walk with Him. And when it gets too tough, He wants to guide us. He wants us to give Him our best while being dependent in Him. (Tough idea to me)
Let Him take our fears and failures.

Let go and let Him. Don't depend only on yourself.

Every crusade needs a Christ.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Eph 6:10
